Heres a very rare coronation medal. 1626 Charles I Coronation medal designed by Nicholas Briot. Briot designed some of the most striking portraits to ever be seen on coinage from Great Britain. Struck in silver, measuring 30 MM, this piece has a very fine portrait of the king on the obverse, with an arm emerging from the clouds holding a sword on the reverse. This medal does not come up for sale often. The most recent sale was of a PCGS AU which sold for 00 in a Heritage sale in January of 2022
