    Description

    Here is an 1885 British One Third Farthing.  This coin was a metal detector find and has some corrosion but it looks much better in person than the scan shows.  These were unpopular with the public because they were small and easy to lose such as the US silver trime.  Details are sharp on this piece so it must have been lost when new or near new.
