This is a lot of four books concerning the Life and Teaching of Jesus Christ. The books are:
The Master: A Life of Jesus, by John Pollock. This is a paperback book. Copyright 1985. The book is divided in to 3 parts: Discovery In Galilee, Death In Jerusalem and Glorious Morning. This is all text. The book is in excellent condition, with no flaws.
An Atlas of the Life of Christ - John F. Stirling. This is not dated.It says in the preface," The design of the work is to give a simple, clear and connected outline of the Life of Christ. It is attempted in a series of maps on which, as far as possible, His journeys are traced, and the different incidents of His ministry are marked at the laces where they occurred." This is a very short book consisting of just 27 pages of in color maps. There is a lot of writing/scribbling in pencil on the front inside cover but that is the only writing. The last page has a small hole in the middle and there is a short tear on the top of page 4.
The Life and Teaching of Jesus Christ by James S. Stewart. Paperback with 192 pages, this is undated. The purpose of the book when written was to provide a short textbook on the Gospels for the leaders of Bible Classes and youth groups.There are 21 chapters in the book covering such topics as: The Gospel records, The Coming of the Call, The Teaching Method of Jesus, The Ministry of Healing and Jesus and Social Questions. There is no writing in the book, but there is a lot of underlining. There are no stains, no tears and all of the pages are still tight.
The Book of the Saviour, by Sheed and Ward. Hardcover with dust jacket. Copyright 1952. The book has 415 pages. This is a companion to "The Mary Book". In this book, Christ is seen through the eyes of many men and women. The book is divided into 4 sections: The Hidden years; The Public Ministry; From Palm Sunday To Pentecost and To The End of Time. Each section is preceded by a narrative; and scattered through the book are a handful of theological summaries. This contains prose, poetry and reproductions of Old Masters.The dust jacket has moderate wear with a longer tear on the front at the top. Otherwise, the book is in excellent condition with no writing, stains, tears or creases.
This is a nice collection of books, all centered on the life of Christ.
