91st Infantry Division White Back Patch WWII Vintage Italy Horizontal Weave

The Patch:  This auction is for
One WWII Original 91st Infantry Division a white back.  This one has a horizontal weave.
This patch is in good condition.  It has a very nice white backing.  This patch does not glow under the UV light and is guaranteed to be authentic.
The History: The 91st embarked for
North Africa
in April of 1944.  They were then sent to
Italy
where elements of the division fought at
Anzio
.  They then fought north, much of the time with the 34th Division and helped break the Gothic Line.  They helped take
Pisa
and prepared for the spring offensive in the Po River Valley.  They attacked German Positions around Bologne and entered this city on April 21st 1945.  They occupied positions in Northern Italy and
Trieste
after the German surrender in
Italy

Some of these patches have been used. If an item is listed as used it may be sewn on, have some dirt on it or have loose threads. I try not to post items with excessive wear because I want you to get good quality items. I try to post good photos of each item but they get shrunk down when they appear in the listing. If you have any questions about condition, please ask me. I can email you the original photo and can make larger scans if you give me enough time. Please ask. I will be happy to give you as much information as I can about an item so that you can make an informed decision about the item before bidding.
