I have been a movie poster collector for over 51 years, and I am currently selling a select group of rare and excellent original posters for a friend.
This is a beautiful original US 1 sheet movie poster of "A Place in the Sun," George Stevens' classic 1951 romantic tragedy starring Montgomery Clift as a poor young man who gets a factory job thanks to his rich uncle and finds himself romantically caught between needy factory worker Shelley Winters and gorgeous rich girl Elizabeth Taylor. The superb adaptation of Theodore Dreiser's An American Tragedy featured great performances by the three leads and fine support from Keefe Brasselle, Raymond Burr, Anne Revere, and Fred Clark. This was originally used in theaters during its first release.
This is an excellent original 1951 one sheet movie poster 27x41 that has been linen backed. There is a light stain in the bottom left corner but is otherwise mint (see photos). This would look great framed!
