Nice Older Orthodox Eastern Rite Paten Pyx
This is a nice older paten pyx as shown. All silver. Handmade for Eastern Rite use.
It measures 5 3/4" diameter. The center pyx cover is 2 5/8" diameter round.
It locks down with a latch on to the paten to hold the consecration bread securely inside.
It has a nice deep well, 1 3/8" ht. x 5 3/4" diameter.
Hand engraved IC,XC,NII,KA. See photos.
This is a classic piece. Dates back about 200 years.
The clasp and hinge work perfectly as they should.
The weight is 6.1 ounces of silver. Classic one of a kind piece.
