research indicates this was probably published around 1875 but this leather edition is undated
soft leather embossed binding feels like seude
so many beautiful illustrations: research suggests the illustrations are color chromolithographs
larger, full page illustrations are various pictures of Christ and His Mother, The Madonna
page edges are gold gilt
pages are thick paper, almost like cardstock
notice the long stitches that hold to binding, maybe hand sewn?
a few tears at page edges, back inside cover is cracking, please message me if you'd like a specific picture
