antique vintage large SOLID BRASS Bible stand ***STUNNING***

Description

This is a very beautiful and elaborate antique SOLID BRASS Bible stand.  Large...Bible rest is 16 1/4" wide X 14 1/4" tall .  Weighs 10lbs. (it's solid!).  Originally this had height adjustments for the Bible rest, it was converted to a flat rest only and Bible rest is permanently flat.  There is a cross and 4 stars etched on the Bible rest and some rust stains have transferred from the steel piano hinge to the rest itself, some brass polish and elbow grease will really make a difference.  The little bends on the front corners of the rest have been straightened since the pictures were taken.  NOW FOR THE BASE, absolutely stunning, made of poured/molded brass.  The shiney area in the last picture is the bottom of one of the legs where I scraped...it's brass and solid.   I'm thinking out of the early Victorian era made for a church or someone with wealth.   Buyer pays .00 shipping to lower 48 states
