    Description

Here is a crass original US theatrical 1-sheet telling you everything you need to know about the US Films Release The Beach Girls and The Monster (1965). A bare bones black and white production, it features some of the worst "teen" musical and comedy performances this side of Frankenstein's Daughter (1958). The Fender guitar riff that plays when the googly eyed seaweed monster skulks across the beach is fun and the abundance of skimpy bikinis and bathing suit beefcake seems to be the film's main attraction (although personally I am more in love with the monster). And reliable sources have it the Frank Sinatra Jr had little if anything to do with the musical score although I'm sure he could have written the handful of notes that comprise the monster's theme. Rambunctious poster works the house with its inclusion of exploitation aspects from both the horror and beach party genres in an enchantingly naive composition.
