    Description

    Byzantine Empire. Alexius I Comnenus, 1081-1118. Class J Anonymous AE Follis, Constantinople mint. 25mm, 6.7gr.
    obv: IC-XC to left and right of bust of Christ facing, cross behind head, holding gospels and raising right hand.
    rev: Cross with globe and two dots at each end of the arms, X in centre, large crescent below, around the cross are four more globes surrounded by small dots.
