The obverse legend is PHILIP Z MARIA DG REX Z regina (Philip and Mary by the Grace of God King and Queen) crowned bust of Mary facing left.
The reverse legend reads POSUIMUS DEUM ADIVTO NOS – (We have made God our helper).
