  • Condition: This original, One Sheet (27" x 41"), restored and linen backed movie poster displays excellent (pastel mostly) colors with great detail of the images on a pristine background. The few (3) minor flaws are unobtrusive and occur only along the borders of the poster. There is one tiny (1/32") blackish dot on the bottom linen border under the NSS number "62/395". There is another tiny dot at the top on the poster's border about 3" above the word "FANTASTIC". And there are several even smaller dots under this 1/32" dot, still on the poster's border. There are no pin holes, no tape or tape residue, and no tears. There is no soiling or smudging. There is no loss of paper or color. The poster has a low to low/medium gloss. Simply a beautiful sci-fi image that is immediately ready to be framed and displayed. Please review the photos carefully.

    .  This movie poster was used by
    Crown International
    in 1962 to promote the release of the movie.   This movie poster is not a reprint nor a reproduction.
    The
    movie stars
    Yoko Tani, Oldrich Lukes, Ignacy Machowski
    , Julius Ongewe, Michail N. Postnikow, Kurt Rackelmann, Gunther Simon, Tang Hua-Ta, and Lucyna Winnicka.  It was directed by Kurt Maetzig.
    This restored movie poster is Rolled and measure 27" x 41".
    It is also linen backed, and with the linen it measures 28.50" x 42.90".  Prior to restoration and linen backing, this poster was Folded.  Most original movie posters pre-1985 are Folded.  This is not considered a flaw or defect.
    The original movie poster is graded C8.5, Very Fine.
    Original movie posters are graded as follows: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), etc.  It is difficult to find any pre-1985 original movie posters graded C10 (Mint).  In addition, it is our practice, and the practice of some major original movie poster dealers, to limit the grade of restored posters to C8.5.  We have done so here as this original movie poster is a very strong C8.5, if not a higher grade.
    Prior to restoration, this original was graded a C7.5 Very Fine Minus.  Restoration corrected pinholes in the corners, Fold wear, minor separation at some cross Folds, and several creases
    .  The restoration was very successful and this original now displays beautifully.  It is immediately ready to be framed and displayed with excellent results.
