This is the complete Limited Edition Lincoln Mint series of .999 fine pure silver medallions featuring the life and story of our 35th President, John Fitzgerald Kennedy.  It includes 36 unique medallions that feature a different time or event in the life of John Kennedy from his boyhood through burial.  Each Pure Silver medal is 39 mm (1.5 inches) in diameter and is struck in a high relief proof format.  Each features an image of a time or event in his life with the title of that event on the front side, and a small image and fact or quote appropriate to that event on the reverse.  Each coin weighs 30.2g or just short of 1 ounce, for a total of 35 ounces, included with this set.
This collection is presented in a hardcover book format (approx. 9.25" x 10.75" x 1.5").  It contains 3 hard board pages, each holding 12 coins protected by plastic slides on both sides. The book cover and coin pages are covered in a blue leatherette style finish.  The book cover and pages show evidence of their age or of slight handling.  However, all the coins appear to be in original pristine mint condition with no apparent handling marks or scratches.  All of them were struck in an astounding high relief proof finish.  Over the years they have each naturally acquired at least a partial beautiful striking tone.
This is a rare complete collection and serves to preserve and memorialize the life of JFK Jr.
