Hello, this set of Liturgy of the Hours BOOK COVERS will last a lifetime. They are handmade of 4-5oz. oil-tanned cowhide. The Roman Numerals are hand stitched with heavy waxed & braided sinew which give a classical and high quality appearance. The leather is treated to resist wear, soil, moisture, and age with minimal care. They are very soft yet very tough. The cover stitching is heavy cotton thread. The four colors shown are black, medium brown, dark brown, & caramel. They are perfect gifts for Seminarians, Priests, Sisters, Deacons, and anyone who says these prayers. I have not seen anything like these anywhere. I am a leathercrafter and made a set for myself to protect my deceased brother's (a Priest) set of books.
