1960 5 Shilling Queen Elizabeth British New York Exhibition Crown 1/4 Pound UC RARENew York Exhibition Commemorative Crown
The 1960 Crown was struck to celebrate the British Exhibition in New York in 1960. Among other British manufacturers, the Royal Mint had a stand, on which they were demonstrating coins being struck. The coin struck was the 1960 crown, or five shilling piece, which was designed for the occasion.
Excellent condition, uncirculated, Very large coin measuring 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
A truly stunningly beautiful coin and quite rare based on mintage numbers.
The coin you see is the coin you get. You will not be disappointed.
The coin has been minimally circulated and retains a very brilliant luster.
Good circulated condition. I am not a coin grader so judge for yourself from photos.
These coins are no longer minted or in circulation and therefore fast becoming sort after collectors’ items.
