    Description

    Vintage Piccolo from the turn of the century, maybe 1876 from my research could be the first year C G conn was in business. Look at the serial number 48 on metal piece on end of body. Early C G Conn union label. All the keys work. The last key on the end needs the spring adjusted or replaced or lubed. The pads look original , up to you if you want to repad them. This one is made by C G Conn  in factory 34. You can screw the end out and tune the piccolo, nice feature.From my research its a nickle plated ebonite body.Ebonite head joing lined with metal. Measure approx 11 3/4", not sure what key its in. Only one I found on line looks the same and is in a museum.  Do your own research. Pretty rare find.
    Would make a great display piece or a player if you are into collecting and restoring early piccolos. The wood may be composition, I cant tell.   No case will be packed properly.
