    800s. SILVER ORTHODOX ICON HALO-NIMBUS and TWO HANDS!!!
    Here for auction is this 1700-
    1800s. Genuine Orthodox Icon Hardware Silver Halo-Nimbus and two Hands. It is made of Low Grade Silver Alloy and covered with yellow lacquer to imitate gilding. Hand hammered decoration is consisted of religious floral patterns, themes inspired by Old Byzantine Iconography Art. Amazing style and masterly crafted item. There is hand Cirillic inscription on the halo depicting the name of the man who made it and meaning *Cut by Rado*. There are three more names scratched on the back side on one of the hands. The making of this

    many hours of shaping and hammering. The items are in as found condition and with the original time patina and deposits. There are holes on the edge for attaching the items to the icon.
