  • Condition: This original movie poster is an eye-catching, very strong C8 all black and white version of a classic movie poster, issued by the same Distributor - American International - that released the 1961 color version. There is some minor creasing on the right side of the poster along the edge about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom. There is also some minor creasing at the 3 cross folds but there is no separation at any of the 3 cross folds. Which is great!! A cross fold is where a vertical fold meets a horizontal fold. There are no pin holes, no tape or tape residue, no tears, no soiling or smudges, and no loss of paper. The edges are pristine and the reverse is clean. Please review the photos carefully.

    .  The movie stars
    Vincent Price
    , Barbara Steele, John Kerr, and Luana Anders.
    The movie was directed by Roger Korman and was based on Edgar Allan Poe's short story of the same name.
    The artwork is by
    Reynold Brown.
    This unrestored movie poster is Folded and measure 27" x 41".
    Most original movie posters pre-1985 are Folded.  This is not considered a flaw or defect.
    The original movie poster is graded C8, Very Fine.
    Original movie posters are graded as follows: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), etc.  It is difficult to find any pre-1985 original movie posters graded C10 (Mint).  This poster is immediately ready for framing and display.  This 1968 poster is all black and white, differing only in that from the 1961 color version of the same poster.  It is definitely a rare and different poster as normally one only finds the color version of the original movie poster

    The flaws that exist do not detract from the excellent imagery and characters that reside on the poster.  The minor creasing can significantly be alleviated or corrected by a proper framing job.  All in all, a great addition to any horror or sci-fi original movie poster collection, or just any movie poster collection, as
