Vintage Pair Herend “Fishnet” Mother & Baby Elephants-Signed. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This is an amazing pair of signed Herend elephants from Hungary in the blue and white fishnet pattern. The hooves and tusks are gold colored. Mama measures 13 1/2” from tip to tail, 10 1/2” high, and 5 3/4” high. The blue mark on the bottom of a foot says Herend Hungary with a shield and crossed swords underneath. 5274/VH6. G. D34. The ears are white and the trunk is up.
Baby measures 6 1/2” from tip to tail, 6 1/4” high, and 3 1/2” wide. The blue mark says Herend Hungary with the shield and crossed swords. 152G5/VHB. G. E34. Both say hand painted. The ears are white and the trunk is down.
They are both in mint condition. There is no crazing, cracks, chips, or dings and no wearing of the gold. They are just fabulous and I have never seen them as a pair.
