Vintage Sawyers 500 R Slide Projector.
Tested, not by a professional. However, this is what I observed. When plugged in the ac power cord into the wall outlet the projector light illuminated and the cooling fan automatically turned on. To get the light and fan to turn off I had to unplug the ac power cord. The four knobs on the unit tested, left to right, like this:

The "Horizontal Tilt" knob works.  It drops the right back corner leg up and down for leveling.  The "Lamp" knob spins freely with no resistance in either direction.  When turning there are no noticeable effects.  The "Forward/Reverse" knob has the same effects as the "Lamp" knob - spins freely with no resistance in either direction.  The "Focus" knob moves the lens in and out when turned.
With the corded remote,  the "Forward/Reverse" button worked.  The "Focus" and "Cycle" buttons do not cause the machine to respond with any noticeable effect.
The light and fan both come on automatically when the unit is plugged in with an A/C electric cord.  They do not turn off with any of the buttons.  The fan and light only go off when unit is unplugged.
This projector is For parts or not working.
