Vintage WWII Army Air Forces Shoulder Patches. Numbered Air Forces. Complete set of shoulder patches for WWII USAAF numbered air forces (1-15, 20), plus numerous speciality patches. All these are shown in the initial photographs: they have all been taken from shirts and jacket uniforms of the period. IN ADDITION, shown in other photos, are additional patches (including one for the post-WWII 18th air force). Many of these are also original, vintage, WWII patches. But some are likely later reproductions. I am selling the patches that are laid out in numerous sequence (together with the specialty patches) as originals, because they absolutely are. The patches laid out but NOT in numerical sequence are more often than not originals, originals, too; but I'm making no claims for them, because of the kind of difficulty sometimes encountered in distinguishing originals (issued, and worn) from originals (never issued, never worn), from good quality but later reproductions. I would not want to claim that all these others are originals, too, then have a buyer unhappy (understandably so) because maybe three or four of them proved not to be.
