Working Viewlex AP-55 Slide Projector AP-5 w/ Koolite 300W Base in Carrying Case

Now onto the item for sale.
For sale is a working Viewlex AP-55 single slide projector in carrying/storage case.  This projector also has its instructions and a few other pieces of original literature.
The AP-55 is the AP-5 set atop a Viewlex Koolite 300W base.  The Koolite base adds a motor cooled fan and can be used with a 200 or 300 watt bulb.  It's rather difficult finding a Viewlex projector on a Koolite base.
Anyhow, we plugged this projector in and put in a slide.  As you can see, this projector works well.  It does have a few very minor issues keeping it from being 100%, but they do not effect its performance.  There is a metal tab that has broken off of the base and a small bracket that works with the elevation knob has come a bit loose.  This allows the projector to wiggle a bit left and right on the base.  The final minor issue is the part of the projector that the lens screws into is attached by four small screws.  One of the screws has gone missing, but could easily be replaced.  Outside of that, we really didn't see anything else to point out about the projector other than some marks it has picked up over the decades.
The carrying/storage case is still very solid, but it has seen its better cosmetic days.  We assume the case is covered with a black vinyl, but it could use a recovering.  The leather handle is still solid, but certainly shows some wear.  Finally, the two clasps that hold the case cover to the bottom are still very solidly attached, but show some wear and rust on one.  The one on the front is in much better cosmetic condition than the rusted rear one.
Outside of the few rather minor things listed above about the projector and the case issues, this hard to find projector is in overall great working condition and would be much better with a little bit of TLC.
