Aside from some very mild cover wear, all pages of this December 1957 issue of
Home Life
are completely intact, super clean, and in remarkable condition. Published by
The Sunday School Board pf the Southern Baptist Convention,
this issue features a photo story on Mr.
Tom UNDERWOOD,
a deacon in Louisville, Kentucky who is a harsh critic of alcohol. The story carries photos of Mr. Underwood along with his wife, Mary Francis and his 16 year-old daughter, "Babs". Also in this issue is a photo story on the small community of
Silas, Texas
and how the residents banned together to rebuild the town after a tornado. Also in this issue is a very lengthy photo story out of Charlotte, NC featuring Dr.
George A. DOUGLAS,
a former college professor who leads a very successful Family Life Program. Towards the back is a small story with photo of 4 year old
Joy Ann HEADLINE
of Hastings, Minnesota. I have this magazine housed and secured in a plastic sleeve and it will be shipped FLAT, just as you see it in my photos. More importantly,
