The artist's description of this work, translated from the French: "The attitude of this totally swaying rider is no an orthodox way to ride a Vincent Black Shadow. But the black and white photo that inspired me was expressive that I made this slightly quirky painting. The background is brushed with square and very wide brushes. For the motorcycle and the rider, the touch is simplified to the maximum by emphasizing punch and contrast."
By Benjamin Freudenthal, noted French automotive and aviation artist, and BSA rider. Benjamin brings a unique perspective to his work, and enjoys recreating great moments from motoring and aviation history.
